EGYPT | Authorities Confiscate Monastery Land

Local authorities confiscated land belonging to the Saint Macarius Monastery in Wadi Al-Rayyan, Al-Fayyoum Governorate, Egypt, on May 30.

CHINA | Tiananmen Massacre Vigils Not Held in Hong Kong

As the world marks the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre on June 4, 1989, there will reportedly be no in-person vigil in Hong Kongfor the first time since 1990.
