 Indonesian Muslim and Christian face blasphemy charges 
Last month, Indonesian police arrested two clergymen, one Muslim and one Christian, on blasphemy charges.

 Beloved Pastor Murdered in Nigeria 
Dr. Habila Solomon, president of Charity and Hope Ministry based in Jauro Yinu village, Taraba state, was killed at his home earlier this month by men suspected to be militant Fulani.

 Jihadist Takeover Causes Mass School Closures in Burkina Faso 
According to AFP, a jihadist threat has forced the closure of schools in Burkina Faso’s eastern province of Tapoa.

 Pastor Held at Zanzibar Entry Point 
On September 11th, 2021, Pastor Mustafa Abubakar was detained at an immigration entry point in Zanzibar, while on his way to preach the Gospel.

 Hindu Priest Calls for the Beheading of Christians in India 
According to The Wire, a Hindu priest in India’s Chhattisgarh state called for the beheading of Christians at a rally attended by members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

United Nations human rights experts called on 21 October for the urgent release of Stephen Masih, a mentally disabled Pakistani Christian arrested more than two years ago for alleged “blasphemy” in Punjab province.

 Pastor Injured After Extremist Mob Invades Church in Karnataka, India 
A pastor in the Indian state of Karnataka sustained injuries that required hospital treatment after a mob of Hindutva nationalists invaded his church on Sunday, October 17.

 Christians Stage Protest Against Proposed Anti-Conversion Law in Karnataka, India 
Hundreds of Christians staged a demonstration on 25 October in the city of Hubballi, Karnataka state, India in protest at the state’s proposed anti-conversion law and a recent attack on a church.

 Egypt Lifts Four-Year State of Emergency Imposed After Church Bombings 
Egypt is to lift its nationwide state of emergency imposed four years ago following bomb attacks against churches, which left dozens dead and more than 100 wounded.
